I’d been working on High Desert for nearly five years when I asked John to step in and help us out. John was instrumental in getting our brand vision to life. He spent countless hours of discovery with me and my co-founder and worked with his agency at the time, Goods & Services, to finally capture and visualize the brand I’d been dreaming of. John then helped us create the brand narrative, our pitch deck and pitch narrative, helped us raise an over-subscribed seed round. A struggle that we faced with prior teams was keeping the vision I had for High Desert aligned with our principles. The final copy, design, and messaging that John helped deliver was completely parallel with our vision. He continues to be an evangelist for the brand, connecting us with partner opportunities and beating the drum on behalf of High Desert.
